This Cookie Policy explains how Edev Solutions (“we,” “us,” and “our”) uses cookies when you visit Memory Mapper at memory-mapper.com. It explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them.
Memory Mapper uses only strictly necessary, first-party cookies — the ones the site needs to work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We also rely on a few technologies that are not cookies — cookieless analytics, error monitoring, and a single browser-storage flag — none of which track you across sites; because they are not cookies they are described under Other technologies we use rather than in the table below.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to report information back to the site’s owners. Cookies set by the site you are visiting (in this case, Memory Mapper) are called “first-party” cookies; cookies set by anyone else are “third-party” cookies.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies only for reasons that are essential for Memory Mapper to function — keeping you signed in to your account, securing the sign-in process, and keeping a shared map unlocked once the correct password has been entered. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the site cannot work properly without them.
The cookies we use
All of the cookies below are first-party (set by memory-mapper.com) and strictly necessary.

Other technologies we use (not cookies)
A few of the technologies we rely on store or process information in your browser without setting cookies. For completeness, they are:
- Product analytics (Plausible). Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier on your device, and does not track you across sites.
- Error and performance monitoring (Sentry). Helps us detect crashes and diagnose problems so we can fix them. It sets no cookies. To do this it may process technical diagnostic information, such as your IP address and details of the error.
- Sign-up counter (local storage). When you create an account we store a single flag named
mm_signup_trackedin your browser’s local storage so a one-time sign-up statistic is not counted twice. It holds no personal information, is first-party, and is never shared.
How can I control cookies?
Because Memory Mapper uses only strictly necessary cookies, there is no consent to give or withdraw and no cookie preferences to set — these cookies are required for the site to work. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but if you do, you may not be able to sign in or open a shared map.
